Myth: If I do not wash my face before bed and fall asleep with makeup on, I will fall asleep looking like this…

Now, it is true that consistently falling asleep with makeup on will pre-maturely age your skin, though this is not something with will happen over night. And, let’s be honest… Sometimes day-old-makeup looks sexy – I have even done photo shoots with a “day old makeup” look!
If you do go to bed on rare occasion because you are too tired (or in my case I am just simply too lazy sometimes) to wash your face there will be little to no damage done, though you should be aware that in making a habit out of this you can potentially age your skin up to eight days in one night…! So, for the sake of your face, wash it!
