My name is Lydia Hearst.

I’m a supermodel, actress and humanitarian… But I’m not one to be summed up or categorized too easily.

I have always been drawn to the world of entertainment and self-expression. I dreamt of being an actress because I love the challenge and creative process of bringing a character to life on screen; perhaps that’s why I’ve been immensely successful in my modeling career. Modeling is like acting but in a silent film. I expose my innermost emotions so they project clearly into the lens and ultimately through the still photograph.

I was discovered by Steven Meisel and in the blink of an eye, I booked my first job: the cover of Vogue Italia! Over the course of my career I have won two international Supermodel Of The Year awards and my life has become a whirlwind of plane tickets, photoshoots, opportunities to work with some of the most legendary photographers (Steven Klein, Patrick DeMarchelier, Ellen von Unwerth, Mario Testino, Paulo Roversi, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Bettina Rheims, Mark Abrams, Peter Lindbergh and Terry Richardson) and designers (Prada, Louis Vuitton, MAC Cosmetics, H&M, Moschino Cheap&Chic, Lord & Taylor, DKNY, Sephora, Bottega Veneta, to name a few…). More than anything life is a journey of endless self discovery.

At the end of the day I hope to always make my family proud, help those in need and most importantly, just be… Me.
