Am I a fan of Coconut Water? No! But Coconut Oil on the other hand… is INCREDIBLE! It is something I swear by and use as an alternative to various beauty products; plus, it’s cheap!

This is a versatile product and I am going to share some of the amazing ways you too can use this oil and transform yourself both inside and out.

Moisturizer

I do love my Jergens lotion, but Coconut oil makes a fresh and simple moisturizer. After a long flight, or cold winter’s day Coconut oil leaves my skin feeling hydrated and alive. It smells good, it goes on easily when it heats up in your hands and leaves you skin glowing, smooth and exquisitely soft to the touch. Fun fact: Hydrating with coconut oil can help prevent the effects of aging.

Make your own body scrub

Take 1 small mason jar and mix in 8 tablespoons or raw unrefined sugar and 14 tablespoons of organic Coconut oil. This scrub is safe to use every day and will leave you skin glowing and feeling silk smooth.

Eye Makeup Remover

I have tried everything from washes to oils and even Vaseline, waterproof makeup can literally be a bitch to get off but Coconut oil does the trick! Just dip your fingers in the solid oil, rub fingers together to warm and slightly melt then rub on your eyes. It will delicately remove your makeup and moisturize as well!

Lip balm

Just like the rest of you, your lips can dry out in changing weather conditions and travel. Cracked lips look bad on everyone, just try a small dab of Coconut oil and your lips will be instantly kissable.
