Lydia Hearst

Our friends at Juicy Couture are finishing up their Wild at Heart campaign by partnering with model and future The Face star, Lydia Hearst. They’ve asked her to handpick a collection of Juicy must-haves in support of Operation Smile, an organization near and dear to her heart that’s dedicated to improving the health and lives of children. Hearst filled us in on what’s she’s doing with the label, how reality life treated her, and where you’ll find her on Halloween.

Tell us about your partnership with Juicy Couture.
I love the concept behind Juicy Couture’s Wild At Heart campaign, which shows girls how to be fearless and passionate. When I decide to pursue something, it’s because I am passionate about it. Whether it’s modeling, acting, or Operation Smile, I never do things halfway. I am very excited to be partnering with Juicy Couture and share my passion for Operation Smile to fearless girls all over.

What are your handpicked must haves?
I love anything leopard! The pieces I picked are all great for the holiday season– including an oversized cardigan, faux fur and leather trim jackets, easy pullover sweaters and a hat, and a scarf and glove collection in a fun leopard print!

How long have you been working with Operation Smile?
I have been working with [them] for nearly a decade – almost as long as I’ve been modeling!

How can others get involved?
They can go to the Juicy Couture Facebook page and donate!

Are you still filming The Face?
No. We wrapped shooting and I’m really looking forward to it airing!

What has your experience on The Face been like so far?
Working on the show has reignited my passion for fashion; it has been a truly incredible experience. I’ve never had to be a stylist, editor, set coordinator, and choreographer all at the same time before. The show has taught me a lot about myself and I’m fortunate to be working alongside such great talent. Mentoring the girls has been equally gratifying. They all show such promise and dedication to the craft.

What else are you working on these days?
I just finished filming a few feature films: Cabin Fever, Patient Zero, and Delirium all of which debut in 2014. And, Two Jacks which just premiered at the film festivals. I’m always shooting fashion editorials and just launched my own fashion, style, and beauty blog called LoveLydiaHearst.com.

What are your favorite things to do to celebrate Halloween?
My favorite things to do leading up to Halloween are haunted houses, hayrides, and carving pumpkins with my closest friends! I’m more of a stay at home and watch scary movies kinda girl on Halloween. I leave the costumes and trick-or-treating to the kiddies!
